Biore UV Athlizm Sunburn Protect Milk is a Japanese sunscreen milk for prolonged direct sun exposure.
The sunscreen fluid is specially formulated to protect skin when extended direct exposure to the intense summer sun is unavoidable. It features Biore’s new “Near-InfraRed BlockFilter Technology” for strong protection against UV and near-infrared radiation. Athlizm’s proprietary “Tough Boost Technology” and “Durable Outer Skin” formula create a fine and even UV-blocking film that adheres like a second layer of skin and stays put under extreme heat and humidity (i.e., 40°C with a relative humidity of 75%), even when it comes in contact heavy perspiration and normal friction.
Especially ideal for use on the back of the neck, arms, and legs at outdoor sporting events, while taking a stroll, and when driving. Skin feels silky smooth with no sticky feel or chalky white residue.
- For face and body.
- Very resistant to water and sweat (80 minutes).
- Removable with usual face or body cleansers.
White Floral Fragrance.

The name “Athlizm” implies athletic/sport use, but the description describes very mild activities (driving, strolling, attending a sporting event). Is this sunscreen suitable for sports use?
Your call, really. According to the company, Athlizm IR+ is for watching sports and other similar activities where it’s impossible to avoid prolonged direct exposure to the summer sun but you’re not physically doing much. They recommend the regular Athlizm range for playing sports.
I think this is Kao’s attempt towards Anessa’s Thermo Booster technology.
They’re a bit different. The Athlizm’s Tough Boost is about staying put on the skin even in extreme conditions and this sunscreen in particular is about protecting skin from near-infrared radiation. Shiseido’s Thermo Booster, on the other hand, claims to start working once a certain skin’s surface temperature to be more protective.
Hi RZ,
Does this product transfer to clothes? Is the cast okay for darker skintones?
