Does anyone know if this formula will be updated for 2023? This one burns my skin (I have rosacea) and I canโt figure out why because I can use these filters without problems in Euro sunscreens.
I really like this sunscreen, thanks for doing a product page on it. I decided to buy it after seeing it here and am so glad I did!
I found that the gold bottle milk was a bit too harsh on my skin and unfortunately broke me out. This one works great for me- no irritation, redness, itchiness or dryness, and no breakout! It is also very tenacious, which is great in my humid climate.
It is shiny, but to be honest itโs nowhere near as bad as most Euro sunscreens Iโve tried. Iโd call it โShiny by Japanese sunscreen standardsโ. Iโd rank it maybe around Skin Aqua UV super moisture gel in terms of shininess, maybe? Itโs easily dealt with by using a mattifying powder. Itโs decently transfer-resistant (not quite on the level of the gold bottle Anessa, but far better than any sunscreens I can get locally) I think it might leave a cast on some skintypes, but I do not feel that itโs very noticeable on me.
I have combo normal-oily skin (sometimes it gets dehydrated) and live in Houston, in case anyone wanted to know.
Thanks for leaving such a helpful review!
Hello Ratzilla! Does this sunscreen have ingredients that are endocrine disruptors?
What is the percentage of zinc and titanium in this? And what size are the zinc and titanium nano particles? I am looking for >35mm nano particle. Thank you!
Both arenโt disclosed to consumers by the manufacturer.
Hi Ratzilla, what difference between old version and 2021 version? Is new version greasy, shiny and not suit for oily acne prone skin similar to old version?
Please read the โDetailsโ section above โ itโs already explained there. This (and the old formula) isnโt made for oily skin.
Thank you
Very excited for this new Anessa release! Please let us know where and when its available for consumers to purchase! Currently, it looks like the Dokodemo shopping link leads to the 2020 version of this item, which shows a container color of pink sides+white top. The 2021 version of this item has a container color of pink sides+gold top: http://anessa.shiseido.co.jp/en/products/suncare/perfect_uv_mild/
Does this 2021 Mild Milk still feel greasy/oily on skin like the 2020 formula? Iโm debating between getting this and the regular 2020 Perfect UV Milk.
Iโd say if you have oily skin, skip the Mild Milk all together because it is alcohol free therefore it doesnโt set better compared to others that have it. I tried the 2020 version and it is shiny, greasy, streaky and ghostly to my face. Iโd stick to the Gold Skincare Milk, 2020 version of course.
Are there any un-biased websites to look up reviews of Japanese skincare products, similar to MakeupAlley? Japanese-language only is fine
Truly unbiased review website? Iโd say no. Thereโre plenty of beauty community sites such as @cosme (which actually owns MakeupAlley) and LIPS but theyโre heavily biased since major brands give these sites thousands of free products each month to give away to readers for reviews and social media features. If you wish to only see reviews from people who purchased the product, youโll need to carefully sift through them all since these kinds of info is up to the reviewerโs discretion.
