SUNCUT Perfect UV Milk is a Japanese sunscreen milk.
The sunscreen fluid has the strongest and most durable UV protection in the Suncut lineup. It features new “Stretch Fit” formula that creates a skin-bond veil that stretches to the skin’s every movement to better protect the skin against the blazing sun even when exposed to water, perspiration, sebum, or normal friction. “AllerGuard” prevents pollen, dust, and other airborne environmental stressors from clinging to the skin. A skincare blend of hyaluronic acid, collagen, squalane, and 10 moisturising botanical extracts protects the skin against dryness.
Ideally suited for the beach and pool as well as casual everyday wear, it protects the skin from intense UV rays without leaving behind an unpleasant sticky residue. Skin feels silky smooth and comfortable even when reapplied over sweaty skin.
- For face and body.
- Very resistant to water, sweat, and sebum (80 minutes).

is this safe for sensitive skin?
It isn’t made to suit sensitive skin. But if your skin isn’t sensitive to the ingredients in it, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t use it.
Did you try this one? I tried an earlier version of the essence and hated it but I’m hopeful for the milk
No, I have zero interest in the product, especially with Suncut’s long-lasting awful reputation.
Do you mind telling us what’s suncut reputation in regard to their sunscreen?
Suncut sunscreens have a longstanding terrible reputation in Japan since they’re notorious for being very sticky and shiny — and I agree. They don’t seem to set at all and just transfer everywhere. The brand very heavily relies on eye-catching cartoon-themed limited edition packaging designs to drive sales. They’re myriad of these cartoon designs and they never seem to go away. I mainly see young teenage girls and tourists buying them.
Does this have better protection than the waterproof gel?
According to Suncut, yes.
Is this reef safe?
There is no such thing as “coral-friendly/reef-safe” sunscreens. They’re all harmful to the environment and coral reefs, some just more so than others. There’re indications that Zinc Oxide contributes to coral bleaching and Titanium Dioxide releases hydroxide peroxide into seawater. If you really care about these issues, stay away from reefs or any other wildlife. If you must be in the water, don’t wear any sunscreen and cover-up instead.
