SEKKISEI is a Japanese drugstore skincare line from KOSÉ that whitens skin using oriental herbal extracts for “skin that is transparent like snow”.
SEKKISEI Sun Protect Essence Milk is a Japanese sunscreen milk enriched with oriental plant extracts to brighten skin. It replaces SEKKISEI Medicated Sekkisei Sun Protector SPF50+ PA+++ that was released in 2010.
The sunscreen is reformulated to be more moisturising and with higher UV protection than previous versions. Its PA++++ UVA rating gives the skin better protection against freckles and dark spots. It also features Sekkisei’s signature blend of oriental plant extracts to moisturise and brighten skin.
The moisturising sunscreen milk has a lightweight texture that leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.

Thanks for your response. May I know that I have oily skin, and I use the milk on face, do I have to reapply for every 2 hours? And I use the solanoveil perfect milk for exposed skin part like arms and neck, and it’s quite pricey as the solanoveil bottle is quite small. My skin is very easy to get dark, do you have any recommend a good sunblock for body which is resistant to sweat as I sweat a lot? Many thanks!
If the sunscreen isn’t staying put on your face, you’ll need to reapply regardless of its texture or how long it has been.
Not sure if this formula is different from Sun Protect Essence Gel but the gel is my current favourite sunscreen.
