DETAILS

Biore UV Perfect Face Milk (also known as Biore UV Face Milk) is a lightweight Japanese sunscreen milk for the face.

The sunscreen milk is reformulated to feature PA++++ UVA protection to better protect the skin against freckles, dark spots, and premature skin-ageing than any of its previous formulas. Its new micronised formula looks and feels more invisible on the skin.

It contains sebum-absorbing powder to give the skin a silky smooth finish that lasts all day. Suitable for everyday wear and outdoor activities.

  • For the face.
  • Water, sweat, and sebum-resistant.
  • Can be used as a makeup base.
  • Removable with a makeup remover.

The renewed 2015 formula feels even more lightweight and looks more invisible on the skin.

16 Comments on Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50+ PA++++ [DISCONTINUED]

    • Shelf life is 3 years so if it looks and smells normal, it’s mostly fine. Personally, I’d just buy a new bottle since it’s so inexpensive anyway.

  1. Hi I by this suncreen recently and it had a date in the bottom (not in the cap), and I’m really confused, is it Expd Date or Manfg Date? Because the seller said its a Manfg Date, but it look to me is Expd Date. I’m sorry if my question look funny, but I really hope you can answer it. Thank you for your time!

    • Have you checked your packaging with the pictures above? The sunscreen has been repackaged every year in Japan since launch (except for the year).

  2. i think there’s a newer 2018 version. could you please review that one. the last formulas are very whitecast on my skin but the protection is great

  3. Hi! I bought this sunscreen recently and I love it, but I’m afraid I’m not using enough. With the Biore watery essence sunscreen, I’ve heard you’re supposed to use 1/4 of a teaspoon, but I can’t find any directions like that for this sunscreen. Is there a certain amount you should use, or should you just make sure your face is covered? (I liked the layering suggestion, too.)

    • The correct amount to get the UV protection indicated is 2.0 mg/cm2, but despite popular belief, this DOES NOT equate to 1/4 tsp on the face. What actually works out completely depends on the face size and consistency of the product. You may actually need significantly more (or less).

I’ve commented in-depth about this topic before in other comment threads on the site, so I’ll link to them instead. Do read through this http://disq.us/p/xl9st2 and http://disq.us/p/1ecph6q

  4. Hai! I have this sunscreen but It dries wayyy too fast and after years of thick goopy sunscreen I “feel” like this is not gonna protect me? 🙁 Please give me some reassurance.I swear this is a psychological thing.

Does thick goopy sunscreens(Previously used the sunplay superblock pa++++ one) equates better UVA and UVB protection? I’m inside class most of the time except a 10-20 min walk to and fro during lunch. Also am concerned about the sun rays hitting from the open window :).

How should I apply this biore pfm one? I always take my time to pat it in but with this it literally dries within 2 seconds of application…..soo….

    Thanks ratzilla 🙂

    • No, texture and consistency has absolutely nothing to do with the effectiveness of sunscreen.

I personally prefer to apply sunscreen milks in 2 layers, waiting to dry in between, just to make sure I’m not missing any areas.

  5. Does this come off with soap/cleaner that isn’t makeup remover? Is it suitable for swimming? Thanks!
