Seems like my current shampoo is very dehydrating if it comes in contact with skin like on my neck or forehead, do you pay attention to this, kinda hard to avoid it even when rising, no? I’m going to try Senka perfect whip cleanser in case my current one is causing it (Biore acne wash) but yeah, can’t find any other reason for the cystic breakout on my neck, could be ingrown hair from haircut I guess but even then probably correlated with dehydrated skin I would assume, we’ll see.

I have oily hair and it keeps falling down. Will this product be suitable for oily hair and keep it from falling down? Thanks

Interesting with the dry shampoos – you apply them midday not on clean hair I assume – as I have oily scalp as well, I always thought these are kinda useful if you’re in a rush and can’t shampoo under shower, and the pay-off is some kind of excess buildup or flaking after a while. Also. I’ve talked to three different plastic surgeons for my benign raised mole/lesion on my scalp. They’ve all said surgical excision is the only way and there is no alternative, except for one who offered laser as well. Since you said that lasers are usually… Read more »

I agree, thats why I’m happy to hear it is usable as a styling product as that is what I was hoping you would say as many times I don’t care for sculpting/control, I just want them looking “natural”, but oils take a toll on that sooner or later. I’ve used many different styling products and they all caused more drawbacks than benefits. Supposedly gel is for oily hair, which I used like 10y ago, but I see now that there is a huge difference if you spend a bit more, not to mention the outcome if blowdried for a… Read more »

Hm interesting, not sure which one you use but I always thought waxes are oil-based so a big no-no for oily hair; I looked on Gatsby page (http://www.gatsbyglobal.com/usa/technique/abouthairwax/) I see water-based under different ingredients but I assume these are not meant to be taken as isolated so oil-based will be included. I have got recommended gel by KMS as I had skin breakout from their molding paste as it was too oily for my hair, which seemed pretty cool apart from that. I haven’t yet ordered the gel and now you made me wonder if I should give a shot… Read more »

Sorry I see I pasted a link that leads nowhere, nevermind it,the point is – do you think waxes are suitable for oily hair OR is that only because you apply dry shampoo prior using wax, and thus if you haven’t you wouldn’t use wax? If that’s the “power” of dry shampoos it could possibly make my molding paste usable aswell so I wouldn’t need replacement hmm.. THAT would be cool.

Yeah I am going through/finishing some health condition related to unmobilized body which is creating tension in my back and neck muscles, which I also think is affecting my facial shine issue, but will wait to see before making any conclusions. I still think the molding paste won’t work as it doesn’t dry completely so it can always somehow end on my face and cause breakout. I see Shu uemura styling wax and paste is in the same price range as KMS, if you know his reputation I would love to hear it! Thanks for help and patience. E: Ahh… Read more »

Lol, that is great as it’s actually incredibly pricey when I saw other products. Btw seems to me that around 50% of the content is disabled for comments, so a bit offtopic: I saw the babyfoot pack thing with the pictures and all and I immeadiately thought THIS WOULD SHOCK(!!) MY GRANDMA, the problem is I saw some pictures of burned skin and some advised it’s better to use just one sock for 1h and switch to other foot for 2nd hour. But I assume that was due to user’s severly dry/dehydrated state of skin which wasn’t ready for any… Read more »

Right, I was more questioning if the “hair serum” is merely a marketing term for heat protector since it seems to heavily rely on silk proteins which are also one of the main component in the “Guard” product but the latter is nothing else than a heat protector.

I see, but on amazon for the western/export babyfoot you can see a few pictures where someone had severly red to dark skin color, saying it burned them, hopefully it went away in with the peeling procees.

With silk proteins I meant achieving frizz control/pliability/smoothness as they both have it (linked serums and Guard) but only one makes those claims, unless some other ingredient plays a role as well, probably best to test and then see I guess.
