Spring is the season for sunscreen releases in Japan. Most companies have already reformulated or launched new sunscreens for the year.
I have been testing various new Japanese sunscreens and here my 5 that I have been liking (in no particular order):
1. Biore UV AQUA Rich Watery Essence
It feels lightweight, fresh, and comfortable on the skin.
2. ALLIE Extra UV Gel (Mineral Moist)
The 1st gel-type sunscreen with high UV protection and sweat-resistant that is actually a pleasure to use.
3. Mentholatum SKIN AQUA Sara-sara Milk
An inexpensive sunscreen with high UVA protection (featuring Tinosorb) that leaves skin soft and matte.
4. NIVEA Sun Protect Water Gel SPF30
It feels like nothing is on the skin and its very economical price and packaging couldn’t be beat (I have the 150g pump bottle).
5. RMK UV Face Protector
Quite moisturizing yet it still manages to feel very fresh and comfortable on the skin.
