They have a “transparent” finishing powder too (this one: https://www.canmake.com/en/ebase/item_base046.html) which seems to have an identical description to the marshmallow finishing powder – is it actually the same powder just in a transparent color? I’m a bit confused at what the difference is..

Link doesn’t work, but Canmake Transparent Finishing Powder is discontinued and its ingredients are different.

It’s a random question but why do all Japanese powder have spf in them when the foundations and bb/cc creams already have high spf.

      • http://www.ratzillacosme.com/ Ratzilla

Not all, but a lot of them do. They’re handy for touching up your makeup and sun protection during the day.

I realise that but with a foundation,bb/cc cream with spf 50 plus a powder with spf 20 and more wouldn’t that be to much spf and also make your face appear ghostly in pictures ?

          • http://www.ratzillacosme.com/ Ratzilla

The white “ghost face” effect in photos is because of the light from the flash bouncing off the skin. You go SPF-free and still end up with that effect. Products with high concentration of zinc oxide, titanium dixoide, and other reflective minerals (e.g. mica) are best avoided if you’re going to have flash photos taken.
